crafting zebu horn ornaments, intricate embroidery, and other handmade treasures that carry the soul of

Journey further south, stopping in Ambositra to meet the Zafimaniry woodcarvers. These descendants of an

Arrive in Fianarantsoa, the “Town where people learn good things”. Here, rural life unfolds slowly –markets,

Explore Fianarantsoa’s historic upper town before heading to Ambalavao, the city of vineyards. Watch silk

Visit Anja Community Reserve, a successful conservation project run by local villagers, where ring-tailed
