Who you will meet on tour
Most private itineraries are led by one of the company’s principal guides — either Fidele or Finaritra — depending on availability and the trip’s focus. Fidele is a licensed Malagasy guide and long-time member of the national guide association; his field experience dates back to 1986. Both principals coordinate planning, vet local partners and often join departures themselves.
On many itineraries we also include: a local driver employed by the company and, in certain national parks or specialised areas, a park-authorised local guide who knows that reserve’s trails, micro-habitats and bird or lemur locations. That combination keeps groups small, informed and flexible.
